Irish 21-04-2016 20:53I have the 7-piece Legendary Prospector gear with six (6) of the pieces with L6 Prospector gems. The 7th piece doesn't have a Prospector gem yet (I only have a L4 available now and am waiting for the mats). The description of the functionality of the gear states that I can farm rss shielded until the rss is completely farmed on any tile up to the Minimum level of the Prospector gems on the 5-piece set. Since I have all max level gems on the 5-piece set, the shield should last until I finish farming the RSS. The description goes on to say that if I have the 7-piece Legendary set, than I can send one additional march out on an RSS tile for each Prospector gemmed piece for a total of 7 RSS farming events. The caveat is that I can only farm rss shielded up to the gem level on that piece. So since I only have 6 of the 7 pieces with L6 (max) gems, then I should be able to farm up to six (6) L6 RSS tiles and remain shielded until the RSS is farmed.
Several times while farming up to six (6) L6 food tiles in the forest, all six (6) RSS tiles would shield up and then eventually some of the hero-less tiles would drop their shields.
Is there an undocumented RSS shield timer that I am not aware of? I currently have the following hero tree skills set: max Gatherer, max troop load, max 5-piece bonus, max siege, and 5 skills towards the 7-piece bonus set (not maxed out). Do I need to also max the 7-piece bonus set skill to keep the RSS shields on until the tile is completely farmed?
