Hahaha 13-01-2017 03:06To unlock the bonuses you have to research the set bonus tree.
Then apply the hero skill points to those sections. Base set bonus 25/25, Full set bonus 25/25.

GMuta 08-02-2017 18:35Technically the question was answered correctly. It's not a Yes/No question because it depends on the Research & Skill tree points being assigned to Base Set Bonus & Full Set Bonus.
You can have 7 piece gear set , but If you don't complete set bonus research tree then you don't get any bonuses neither Base set bonus or Full set bonus.
Without the completed research there is no bonus. And to use it fill the skill tree Base set bonus 25/25 and Full Set bonus 25/25.

#910, KoC 12-12-2016 23:53I've just figured it out - a full legendary set (I have all 7 pieces finally) with a lvl 6 prospector's gem in the 4th gem slot activates the shield. There is no need to have the other slots filled. This only works on one march with your hero (so far).

Hahaha 13-01-2017 03:10If you put level 6 Prospectors gem in the 4th slot of all 7 pieces. You can shield on 8 total tiles. But you must send the hero out on the very first tile. Then send 7 other marches. Hope that helps.
Also you could use Gem of Flight and Golem gem for extra load and gathering speed.

There is only the Prospectors Gem that goes in the 4th slot no one should have to ask that question you can read the gear details inside the forge and learn that piece of information.
And 27 people give the idiot that calls me an idiot a positive review because none of you know shit about the game either. A fool calling me an idiot for answering this person's question correctly.

Hahaha 13-01-2017 03:14You can shield on only 1 level 8 tile by using either the 5 piece w/ Lv 6 Prospectors gems or full 7 piece set with Prospectors gems in 4th slot. You must send the hero in that March for it to shield.
When I collect on it I send Tier 4 Siege troops and I collect 1.2B resources at a time.
